Hi there, my glorious weirdo!

You know you’re supposed to comment on LinkedIn.

But HOW, damn it?!

  1. First, identify whose posts you want to comment on. Do this by:

  • Googling ‘top creators in (your industry) on LinkedIn

  • Pick 10 whose vibe you dig (or hate, if you like being snarky)

  • “Double bell” them, AKA hit the bell in the top right section of their profile, and hit ‘all.’ This means you’ll get notified every time they post. Yay stalking!

  1. Next, leave 10-15 comments per day. Here's how:

  • If you agree with their post, expand on it! Add some extra insights, or make a funny joke. Flex your improv muscles.

  • Play with responding to other people’s comments. The more you can make someone think, the better. Commenting ‘yes!’ gets you nowhere

  • If you disagree, do it respectfully and back up your point. This can create a great discussion, which highlights your expertise AND maximizes impressions

  1. Last up, some advanced commenting techniques:

  • Find your top 5 comments of the past month. Which ones are still getting ‘insightful’ reactions and responses?

  • Turn those into posts! Either use the exact comment copy, or expand on it a little more

  • Hit ‘post’ with the confidence that this content is something that the people have already said they want!

Want to learn even more about commenting, and become a comment king or queen? I have a 90-minute recorded workshop, just for that.

PS. Have a question? Respond to this email! I answer every single one.

Lots of love,

Jillian
